  • Consent to Use

The Consent To Use Form is the first screen you’ll see when accessing a tax return. However, this form does not appear on any form within the tax return itself. Its primary purpose is to confirm that the taxpayer has given you consent to prepare their taxes.

    • Checking any box on the Consent To Use Form does not affect the Bank Application or any other forms.

    • This form serves only as a confirmation between you and the taxpayer and is unrelated to the IRS or any bank product.

    Managing Consent Options

    • You can check or uncheck the box beside Consent To Use Of Tax Return Info to add or remove consent.

    • The form also allows you to:

      • Obtain consent to add a Bank Product (e.g., Refund Transfer or Refund Advance).

      • Obtain consent for Audit Protection.

    Taxpayer’s Signature

    • Use the form to capture the taxpayer’s signature and signature date, confirming their agreement for you to prepare their tax return.

    Print and Save Options

    • A Print button is available at the bottom of the form, allowing you to:

      • Print the form to mail to the taxpayer.

      • Save it as a PDF to email it to the taxpayer.
