This page will demonstrate how to print a test check and/or live checks.

First, we must print a test check before printing live checks in order to make sure checks aren’t upside down, pushed to one margin, etc...

Please, follow the steps below to know how to print test and live checks:

  • When you reach this step, please follow the below steps:

  1. Make a photocopy of one of the checks you were sent by the bank; this is going to be used to test the orientation of the paper being loaded into the printer

  2. Load the photocopy of the check into the printer and take note of the orientation; is it face up? / face down?, etc…

  3. Once the photocopy of the check has been loaded and the orientation noted, Click Print

  4. Review the test check once printed.  Did it print as a real check should have?  Is it the right way up on the right side of the paper?  If so, proceed to printing a live check.
If not, make another photocopy of the check paper and reload into the printer another way until it comes out right.

  • The check range starting number is the very first check number in the package of checks that you received from the bank.  This number is typically red in color and located in the top left hand corner of the check.

  •  The check range ending number is the very last check number in the package of checks you received from the bank. This number is typically red in color and located in the top left hand corner of the check.
