Drake E-Sign allows you to get electronic signatures from your customers. Drake E-Sign is available in two options:

Drake E-Sign – In-Person: lets you get electronic signatures from your customer in your office. For this, you need a signature pad. 

Drake E-Sign – Online: Available in Drake Portals. This lets taxpayers view, and sign their documents remotely. From the View/Print screen in Drake Tax, simply choose the forms you need to be reviewed and signed, and send them to your clients to be signed online. this is referred to as an eSignature Event. They'll be notified by email to sign into Drake Portals, where they'll answer ID verification questions and sign the documents. Once the documents are signed, you can easily download them back into Drake Documents. 

Note: If the spouse and main taxpayer have 2 different addresses, Drake e-Sign will not work. Currently, both filers have to have the same address.
If the taxpayer enters the verification info wrong 3 times, they won’t be able to sign remotely.
