1040-SR (Web-based) | Audit Assistance Settings

If you’d like to enable or disable audit assistance automatic fee charge, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Configuration

     

  2. From the Configuration Menu, go to Office Setup

     

  3. Scroll Down to Partner Product Configuration

  4. Select the choice that reads $39.99 from the dropdown menu

5. Make sure you choose the add-on fee you requested from the dropdown menu, under Add On Fee.

6. Check the Charge By Default box if you want the fee to be charged automatically. Or uncheck it if you don’t want it to be charged by default on every return.
