1040-SR (Desktop) | No Received Acknowledgement for a Tax Return
If you cannot see an acknowledgement for a specific return, it could be fixed by following these steps.

2. Receive Acknowledgements Only
Once you've checked the Client Status and you’re sure the IRS has acknowledged the transmission, try picking it by receiving acknowledgements. Follow these easy steps below:
From the Main Menu (Quick Menu), select E-File
Go to Receive Acknowledgements Only
Click Connect to pick any acknowledgements waiting to be downloaded
After receiving the acknowledgement, go to:
1. Main Menu (Quick Menu), then select E-File
2. Choose Print Reports
3. Select IRS Acknowledgements
3. Rehang Acknowledgements
If after Receiving Acknowledgements, you still cannot see an acknowledgement for a tax return, we’ll need to Rehang Acknowledgements. This process will send an acknowledgement back to you from the software. To rehang an acknowledgement, follow these steps:
From the Main Menu (Quick Menu), go to E-File
Go to E-File Utilities
3. Go to Request Acknowledgement
4. Check the box of each type of acknowledgement you'd like to have rehung. (if you're uncertain, check them all)
