1040-DR (Desktop Version) | Masking/Unmasking SSNs, EFINs, PTINs on Client and Preparer Sets

Sometimes, 1040-DR censors Social Security Numbers, PTINs, and Client and Preparer Sets. To cancel this, follow the steps below:

1- Go to Setup > Options:

2- Go to Calculation, View & Print:

3- Uncheck the Mask SSN, EFIN, PTIN on Client and Preparer Sets box.

 You also can choose to not mask the last 4 digits of the SSN or to not mask the depositor account number on form 1040
