In TaxSlayer web version, the State ID License isn't required, but is optional for most states. However, if a return is filed with a bank product, the State ID is mandatory.
To enter a state ID, follow the steps below:
From the State ID License tab, choose the license/ID type
Once you choose the type of license, you’ll be able to enter the ID information, as shown below
If the client doesn’t have a State ID, choose No Driver's License or State ID. If the client has a State ID but chooses not to provide it, select Not Provided.
